    Balanced Horsemanship is run by Joanna Heaton who holds the Monty Roberts Preliminary Certificate of Horsemanship.

    Balanced Horsemanship is based at Thornbank Stables, between St Andrews and Cupar in Fife, with excellent training facilities, including a well drained outdoor school with showjumps, round pen and minutes from the beach.

    Whatever the issue is that you have with your horse Balanced Horsemanship can help - whether you have a:

    - young foal or weanling that needs handling
    - horse that needs introducing to tack, long-reining or backing;
    - horse who won’t shoe, catch, load, clip, or needs schooling, hacking out or

    Joanna has worked extensively with horses across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Australia. Joanna works with horses in a patient, sympathetic manner building a respectful partnership with firm but fair handling.
